The Circulation & Distribution section of the Information and Public Relations Department (I&PRD) is responsible for the printing, circulation, distribution and systematic management of all department publications. Its functions include printing and circulation as per the prepared mailing list, allotment and management of work orders, and issuing work orders for outsourcing colour films for printing at the Government Press. The section monitors the printing status at all stages and ensures timely distribution through mail to subscribers and courier services to District Information Offices.
It maintains the stamp register and mailing list, addresses circulation-related complaints, and coordinates the distribution of posters, booklets, hand-outs and other publications through District Information Offices. It maintains records of printing, circulation and publication activities and ensures the circulation of publications to the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Ministers, Leader of the Opposition, Speaker, Members of the Legislative Assembly, Secretaries and other stakeholders. It also undertakes statewide circulation, including distribution to the New Delhi Information Office.
The section identifies markets for department publications, arranges transportation of printed materials from the press, and ensures their timely distribution to Ministers, Government Secretaries and media personnel. It also informs government departments and institutions about the details of department publications.
